Architecture in the Middle East V

Hoping that you've enjoyed the series 'Architecture in the Middle East', I should let you know that the best part is just to come now! From the ancient times to the Islamic period, we've noticed that the grandeur and uniqueness of the architecture there are hardly to be encountered elsewhere. But how did the latest centuries left marks on the local architecture?

Well, not only is the Middle East the ancient cradle of culture and architecture, but the area has also made a name for itself in the recent times, breaking all the records as far as modern constructions are concerned. Breathtaking samples of richness and extravagance, the new-built cities have increasingly developed in the last 10-15 years, hardly resembling their previous appearances. State-of-the-art technology, awe-inspiring concepts, outstanding designs... Countless attractions for everyone eager to discover the world of sands, luxurious beaches and majestic skyscrapers.

My suggestion for today is one meant to arise your interest in our topic even more than before. Of course, after all the insights into the old styles of architecture, turning back to our times will sound more appealing to some of us, am I right? Even if it was hard somehow to decide on my favorites among so many mesmerizing cities in the Middle East, I managed to make up my mind at last and come up with the Top-10 Cities in the Middle East! The new series is meant to resemble a cultural tour through the most attractive cities there, all being extraordinary samples of modern architecture!

Coming up, the next article will reveal the 10th city in the top! I won't spoil the surprise by mentioning its name - all that I can tell is that it will surely leave up to your expectations... Wonderful pictures and descriptions worth keeping in mind will make the salt and the pepper of the new series!
