Older Portraits

After providing you with an insight into the architectural style of significant buildings in Pitesti ( have a look on the first three episodes of the nice series entitled 'Let's go for a walk'), it's time we had a bit of entertainment, didn't we? So, what I have prepared  for you today is a presentation of my greatest art works done over the last year. Obviously, there is a significant evolution in my drawing skills, I would say in a quite short period of time, and, as I told once before, without any specialised preparation or courses. Nevertheless, I hope you'll fancy seeing my first works in the field of portrait drawing, as well as the latest ones. I'll enclose the aproximate date when I finished the drawings and the time of drawing each of them.
I'm so eager to hear your comments and I sincerely hope that this post will cheer you up!

The following drawings are made in the last months of 2011. They didn't take more than one day each to be finished, except for the icon, which was far more complex, and drawing it lasted for 3 days.

Going further, I shall present you the works I have been made during 2012:

  Ashley Greene   (February 2012)

Eye - February 2012

Self-portrait (February 2012)

Liv Tyler - March 2012

Catherine Zeta Jones - March 2012

Claudia - March 2012

My best friend, Andreea - March 2012

Self-portrait  - March 2012
Group Portrait - not my greatest achievement in terms of drawing techniques, but with great sentimental value

Renesmee - Mackenzie Foy ( May 2012)

Emma Watson - June 2012

Kristen Stewart - July 2012

My Mother - October 2012

A portrait made special for my deskmate, Anca Radulescu ( in the centre of the drawing), a brilliant mind who got the second place in the Geography Olympics !!
Drawing on the first page on one of my notebooks (that explains the presence of the name there )

So... Which one is your favourite?
