Art is not consisting exclusively of the traditional arts, as we are often taught to consider. Art means everything that gives you an inner feeling of appreciation, everything which brings a smile on your face, everything worth being described as "beautiful". Of course, the main difference between masterpieces and daily art samples is made by the passing time: the first may be everlasting, while the others may last for just a second. Although, this doesn't make them be less important. Just a second of joy is sufficient for a little artistic moment to become part of your sweetest memories.
In my view, art is all about feelings. There may be worldwide renowned masterpieces that lives you cold. Of course, some could blame you for being insensible, poor-educated, or maybe just not concerned enough in the world of arts. Maybe it's true, partly, but could you blame someone because their emotion on seeing his child's last drawing is a great deal more moving than on seeing a painting in a museum, which may neither catch their attention?
Far from me to think that traditional art samples are not important. The lasting impact they might have had, the unestimable value for the whole world, as well as the huge popularity among people from any corner of the planet state clear reasons for them being crucially important for the world's cultural heritage. We should all be open-minded and conscious of the overwhelming influence of art in every second of our daily life. Not only on visiting a museum or an art exhibition. Not only when seeing a monumental architectural masterpiece. Not only judging by whether something can be classified as artistic taking into account old-fashioned rules. But by analyzing your feelings. Does it make your heart pounding? Can't you help smiling on catching sight of it, or simply remembering it? Well, should your answers be positive, you definitely deal with an artistic object. No judge is better in this case, but your soul.
Coming back to the innitial purpose of the article, after some 'serious' articles concerning the state of my hometown in terms of architecture and appearance, you must be longing for a break. Not just a simple one, but...a sweet, artistic break. So... I hope this will leave up to your expectations! Let me present you my sweetest achievement on this wonderful day. Is it artistic?
Congratulations for this wonderful article and I hope that you have enjoyed this awesome cake! :*
