Welcome to a new start of our journey in the world of arts and architecture!! Today we start a new series, meant to get you acquainted with the architectural styles from my country - Romania, a land which has lots of magnificent attractions that only lack proper advertising. That's why this series will get you through all those facts that we could be proud of, especially in the fields that we usually approach on this blog: Romanian art and architecture!
For all of the young Romanian readers who wish to enter an architecture university in our country, this topic is one of utmost importance for the exam preparation. There have been several years when some of the subjects consisted in drawing buildings from Bucharest, traditional churches, or constructions designed by Romanian architects. This series will focus on this aspects, starting with the history of architecture from the oldest times up to the present and, of course, will include a section dedicated to the most renowned architects that were born or worked within the Romanian borders.
The series will also include articles presenting the architectural masterpieces that make Romania stand out and attract international tourists. Last, but not least, would you like to get an insight into the other Romanian arts? You must have heard of Constantin Brancusi or Nicolae Grigorescu, but it's always worth gaining better knowledge in the field, isn't it?
