Reims Cathedral - Pencil drawing

With its intricate details and flamboyant decoration, Notre Dame de Reims is a masterpiece of French Gothic that will undoubtedly remain among your best architecture-related memories. The reason for that stays somewhere beyond what can be seen, in the same way that a drawing allows only the soul to perceive its true charm. Gothic architecture was meant to be a depiction of the human soul ascending to the divine and, after hundreds of years, they still bring us back to the same ideal. With a piece of white paper and a pencil, I tried to bring this closer to all of you. Keep art close and it will remind you every day how much beauty there exists that you can admire.

Beyond the image there is always a story to be continued with every emotion of those who cast their eyes over it...
